The SPi was launched two years ago and two new models have now been introduced, the ServiceScan for the fast fit, servicing workshop/bodyshop and KeyScan for garages who want to do key programming. Enhanced key coverage has been added to enable lock repairs and key coding.
The SPi is updated primarily over the internet where you can also find applications guides and enhanced diagnostic functions. It has wireless peripheral functionality and a WASP module allows analogue measurement of components wirelessly to the handset. Information can be shown alongside serial data from the ECU for comparison.

It covers 34 manufacturers plus it has an EOBD function and key programming facility on 23 of those. Coverage includes: Service light reset, ESP sensor configuration, VAG variant coding and adaption and diesel pump matching. The SPi extracts security pin codes on Ford, Renault and VAG models.
