The EELD100 smoke machine, available from Snap-on Tools, is said to make the invisible, clearly visible, saving the bodyshop tech the hassle of replacing and stripping down engine components and finding the smallest of leaks.
It can be of help when working on any applications that will hold pressure, including oil, wind and water leaks, vacuum hoses, EGR valves and radiators to name a few.
A UV light can be used to detect the residue the smoke leaves behind to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.
