Rogues targeted

Autodata has entered into a partnership with the Trading Standards Institute to help combat the rogue element of the garage trade. It is providing Trading Standards Officers (TSOs) with free access to its CD1 service information and technical data product to help officers “combat overcharging and shoddy workmanship”. This will help TSOs to answer consumer enquiries relating to the time charged to carry out repairs, as well as questions relating to servicing such as clarifying correct oil grades and service intervals.
