A college in the North West is hosting a technical evening to mark the launch of its newly re-furbished Motor Vehicle centre
The Blackburn College's Motor Vehicle Centre has been re-designed to include seven specialised car workshops, including a 4-wheel rolling road, of which there are very few in the country.
The evening, which is specifically for employers, is being hosted by Blackburn College and will offer those in the motor trade an opportunity to see a demo of the latest software on various types of Snap-on diagnostic kit.
Department head, Jonathan Stubbs said: "The recent investment in the Motor Vehicle Centre has meant we can now offer employers in the motor trade the very best in technical equipment and training.
"Each workshop has been specially designed with a specialism in mind. We have one for vehicle refinishing, an auto-electrical bay, rolling road, three mechanical workshops, a diagnostic lab and a Higher Education facility."
The event is being held at the college on Fielden Street, in Blackburn on Wednesday 6th April, from 5:30pm-8pm.
