Pull the otter one! Charity on riverside fund raising ride

Join BEN the automotive industry charity on Saturday 17 September 2011 as they cycle the route of the Tarka Trail.  This follows the travels of Tarka the Otter in Henry Williamson’s famous book written in 1927.

Unlike Tarka himself, they won’t be covering the whole distance of the trail, as this is well over 180 miles.  Instead our stunning route starts in Meeth and heads some 30 miles north up to Braunton and should take approximately 4 hours including a stop.

To take part in this great adventure all you and your family or work colleagues need to do is simply pay a non-refundable entry fee of £10 per person or £25 for a family and that secure places for your team of four. All BEN is asking is that in addition to the entry fee teams commit to raising a minimum of £400 in sponsorship

Teams need to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements but a list of local B&B’s is available on request from BEN Events Team.  To find out more or to book your place contact the BEN Events Team on 01344 294755 or email warren.neal@ben.org.uk.  Or visit the website www.ben.org.uk.
