Environmental group Greenpeace held protests at various VW dealerships in Europe over the weekend, including six in the UK.
The group cited concerns that the VM giant was ‘lobbying against key environmental laws’ and argued that the firm’s Bluemotion technology should be standard on every vehicle.
The low-key demos saw campaigners wave placards and drape cars in black wraps.
