Two new compression tester sets for petrol and diesel engines are out now, to eliminate the inaccuracy and hassle involved when using simple gauge-type compression testers.
The test gauge shows an image of the compression value which is etched onto a test card that can be shown to the customer. This allows a quick comparison and removes the need for guess work.
Each card can display the results for up to 12 cylinders, so is also suitable for use on HGVs.
An internal valve promotes accuracy as the volume of the cylinder does not change when connected up.
