The tool covers 13 VMs with OEBD functionality across each of the marques and, seven months after it was launched, TRW says demand for the scan unit is high across Europe.
Users can choose from software covering brakes, climate control, airbags, service lights and more. TRW says it aims to provide updates on new vehicles as soon as possible.
“Nine times out of ten our customers simply want to reset a warning light, release a park brake or read and clear a fault code,” said Andrew Cooper, TRW’s general manager for diagnostics.
“They do not want to invest huge sums of money to do this, especially given the current economic climate.”
