A new line of twin-tip spark plugs has recently been launched by parts firm Denso.
The new ‘TT’ plugs are the result of a two year project to discover a way to produce a fine-wired spark plug without using precious metals such as platinum or iridium on the electrode.
The maker says that the design with a nickel alloy centre and a ‘twin protruding ground electrode,’ can produce more powerful sparks ensuring better combustion of the air and fuel mixture.
