The Murex Saffire 5 shank can heat with propane using a heavy-duty propane mixer, bent neck and propane nozzle.
The neck and super heating nozzles are easy to put together and can be hand tightened so no need for extra tools.
If intense focused heat is needed then the Saffire 5 blowpipe and AHT acetylene heating nozzles are ideal. These are available in three sizes for flows of 24, 50 and 100 cubic feet of gas.
Using a super heating adaptor, the Saffire NM 250 and NM 400 cutters can also be used for propane heating. An adaptor is positioned in the head of the cutter and fixed with a standard nozzle nut.
A super heating nozzle can then be fixed to the adaptor and hey presto you can now start welding!
