Triple boost for flat batteries

French battery charger manufacturer GYS has launched StartUp 80, a brand new ‘3 in 1’ automatic battery jump starter, battery charger and battery 12V tester combined, which has been designed to start any model of petrol or diesel powered car or light commercial vehicle in a few minutes.

The new machine has three functions; firstly if the vehicle has a flat battery it requires just a few minutes of pre-charge before enabling the vehicle to start, secondly it has an automatic battery charger with overvoltage protection for the vehicle and audible polarity alert if connected incorrectly.
The maker says that it is safe to leave to charge unattended and can even be left connected indefinitely.
