Kits provide extended warranty

Since the launch of Dayco Aftermarket in March, the popularity of its timing belt kits has grown substantially.

Spokesman Callum Goodland says: “The HT belt is now available to the UK aftermarket and its revolutionary construction, which incorporates the use of PTFE material to prolong life and reduce wear, has allowed Dayco to provide these timing belts with a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty. However, fit an HT timing belt kit and workshops can extend this by a further year and provide their customers complete peace-of-mind with a three-year, unlimited mileage warranty.”

Twenty auxiliary belts join the range, including references for the Alfa Romeo 159 and Fiat Ducato 2.3. A further 15 dampers include many BMW and Mercedes applications and GM Astra/Corsa and Meriva variants. Three water pump kits and nearly 80 timing belt kits have also been added; prominent additions to the HT timing belt kits range include the Audi A6/A8/RS6/S6/S8, Land Rover 2.7/3.0 and VW Phaeton/Touareg.
The Dayco catalogue contains more than 3,400 part numbers and 450 individual timing belt kits.
