Garage of the Year finalists

Regional win for Berkshire independent

Published:  09 May, 2012

A GARAGE in Winnersh, Berkshire is celebrating after winning the title of Garage of the Year in the regional small business category of the annual competition, held by industry body Motor Codes.

Sean Bradbury, proprietor of MOT City said: "To be chosen as a regional finalist in this competition is a really great achievement. It means so much to us as it was predominately our customers who voted for us in the first two rounds of the competition, the rest is now up to the judges to decide.  We have undergone an RAC inspection and we'll be waiting to hear the announcement mid-May."

Despite the name, MOT City also performs servicing, air-con work and general repairs.

Following their regional win, the workshop, which is a member of the Alliance Autocentre programme is now in the final stage of the competition to find the UK's best small garage.
