Top Technician 2012 is announced

Gong awarded at technical event

THE title of Top Technician 2012 has been announced at an event held at Mercedes Benz world in Surrey.

Technician Gareth Edwards from Cawdor Cars in Aberystwyth scooped the title, which included a prize fund of more than £15,000.

He narrowly beat Dan Wright of Clive Atthowe Tuning in Norwich. The award took place after the Top Tech Live event which saw a variety of speakers including David Massey and James Dillon.

Speaking about the award Gareth said: "I'm so proud. Winning this award is a real achievement for me - I never thought I'd make it this far"
