Manbat moves down the road

New logistics plant for battery distributor

Published:  01 July, 2011

After 13 years at Grange Business Park, Manbat - the UK's largest battery distributor - has relocated its Shrewsbury HQ 500 yards further along Lancaster Road and into a substantially larger site, which provides the room that the company needs as it continues to expand.

Commenting on the move, managing director Steve Sheppard said: "Manbat's prime concern has always been to enable our customers to sell more batteries and maintain their margins in the process.

"Part of that ethos is a commitment to examine, and were necessary, improve our internal procedures, in order to further support our customers. The move into a new head office and distribution centre is latest element of this on-going plan.
