£50m regeneration

Peugeot HQ

Published:  23 June, 2006

Peugeot, which is to close its Ryton assembly plant near Coventry, plans to regenerate its largely redundant 83-acre site at Stoke Aldermoor, also in Coventry, to include a new corporate headquarters building due for completion in 2008, besides 1,700 homes, offices, and retail facilities. A total of £50m will reportedly be spent on the regeneration of the site, where Peugeot employs around 700 people. Part of the 110,000 sq ft Peugeot UK HQ building will be a 60,000 sq ft technical centre and dealer training academy. Source: autowired
