The Parts Alliance along with Andrew Page has announced their joint acquisition of 33 branches of the now in administration Unipart Automotive. This move is set to save more than 300 of the 1,600 jobs that were set to be lost.

KPMG are due to be appointed as administrators this morning, with approximately 30 sites being sold to rival car parts firm Andrew Page.

HgCapital, the investment company with a £2 billion fund and a commitment to the Parts Alliance has enabled this swift acquisition.
