The right information

Batteries from Manbat

Published:  31 January, 2016

The ability to verify the battery you need to fit to a vehicle is increasingly important, with manufacturers adding to their support in this area to help technicians save time and money.

Manbat has launched such an initiative, with the introduction of its battery look-up website, a battery identification focused tool that specifically assists users with their battery verification issues.

When using the look-up - batteryfinder.manbat.co.uk - users need to enter the registration number of the vehicle in question into the search box and the site will use a VRM database to locate the correct vehicle and provide access to its details, including exact battery specification information. Users can also look up the vehicle via the VIN or search, should the registration not be available.

By creating an account, which is completely free to members of the trade, users can login and access helpful information concerning several matters including fitting instructions and battery specification sheets, as well as battery handling information and do's and don'ts when it comes to batteries both installed on the vehicle and in storage.
