NGK highlights motorsport heritage at Autosport

Company aims to showcase how racing can enhance its products

NGK is highlighting its motorsport pedigree at the Autosport International event currently being held until the 12 January at the NEC Birmingham.

The company is heavily involved in motorsport, supporting McLaren Mercedes and Ferrari in Formula 1, and the M-Sport World Rally Championship team. NGK has been involved in a number of victories and championships over the years of its participation as a supplier to teams and drivers.

Gerard Irving, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd Marketing Manager, said: "As a company, we have a long and illustrious pedigree in motorsport at all levels and the show gives us the opportunity of meeting motorsport enthusiasts who use our parts in their daily lives."

The show caters for industry professionals and motorsport fans alike, incorporating two trade-only days ( January 9 & 10) to allow visitors and exhibitors to meet in a business to business environment and two public days (January 11 & 12) dedicated to motorsport enthusiasts.

The NGK stand features a Citroen DS3 World Rally Championship car and visitors will also have the opportunity of winning an iPad Mini.
