NGK launches PartFinder app

Apple and Android app aims to make finding part numbers quicker

Published:  17 January, 2014

NGK has launched a new smartphone app designed to help the UK and Ireland automotive aftermarket.

NGK PartFinder is available free for both iPhone and Android users and delivers search results across the thousands of part numbers in the NGK/NTK spark plug, glow plug, Lambda sensor and ignition coils ranges, and where appropriate shows upgrade options too.

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd Marketing Manager Gerard Irving said: "With one of the largest ranges of part numbers in the sector, it's important we make it as easy as possible for customers to find the right part number for their application. To meet that need we print and distribute tens of thousands of catalogues every year.

"The NGK PartFinder App potentially puts our product ranges in the pocket of every garage technician across the country so we see it as another best seller except, of course, it is absolutely free."

The launch of the new PartFinder App comes hard on the heels of recent improvements that have been made to the company's website in response to a big increase in the number of people visiting the site.

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has redesigned its home page as part of an ongoing suite of improvements aimed at delivering an enhanced experience for its independent garage and motor factor customers as well as consumers.
