ECP and TMD Friction extend partnership

New deal sees Textar range stocked

Published:  12 May, 2014

Euro Car Parts has extended its partnership with TMD Friction by agreeing to stock its Textar brake pad and disc ranges alongside the company's Pagid brand.

The brand has a heritage dating back over 100 years and is a technical partner to Mercedes, Range Rover and BMW. The company invests over €20 million a year in its research and development on brake pads alone. Textar aftermarket products are manufactured on the same production lines and using the same materials and components as their OE quality counterparts.

David Baines, Head of Global Aftermarket , at TMD Friction comments: "Textar brings OE pedigree to the aftermarket. It stands for quality, safety and superior braking comfort. Supplying the full Textar brake pad and disc ranges will strengthen our relationship with Euro Car Parts and complement the success of other TMD brands."

Martin Gray, chief executive officer at Euro Car Parts, said: "We are very excited to be launching these Textar brake pads and discs in partnership with TMD Friction. They are now available at 160 Euro Car Parts branches across the UK, so Textar fitters can access the products they want quickly and at the right prices."
