Dayco release Golf Mk VII wheel bearing fitting video

Published:  20 May, 2021

Dayco has released a wheel bearing installation video for the 2018 VW Golf Mark VII that complements a recent step-by-step guide published by the company.

Commenting on the thinking behind the video Dayco’s National Sales Manager Steve Carolan said: “Despite the fact that wheel bearing replacement is a relatively common task, there is still some confusion among technicians between the different wheel bearing technologies and the fitting procedures that need to be followed to install them correctly. The production of first, the step-by-step guide and now the installation video, is a great way for us to address the differences and demonstrate the best practice procedures that need to be followed to replace wheel bearings with confidence.

“The Dayco range encompasses Generation 1, 2 and 3 technology, as well as bearings integrated into the brake disc, reflecting the current European vehicle parc and providing workshops with the replacement products they need day-to-day.”

Steve added: “Our commitment to support technicians and assist them in the fitting process continues with the wheel bearing kits themselves, which, as well as coming complete with all the necessary ancillary items, such as nuts, bolts, pins or circlips, also include fitting instructions and technical tips that can be viewed via a QR Code on the product packaging, to ensure they are installed correctly and in the most efficient manner.”
