A bodyshop in Birmingham has reopened eight months after being completely gutted by fire.

Following a £1.5m total refit, involving brand new equipment, workstations and offices, Impact Repair Centres’ headquarters site in Lifford Lane, Kings Norton has received a new lease of life. .

The garage’s MD, Tony Lowe, who is a long standing member of the Retail Motor Industry board said “We have turned a negative into a real positive.”  Lowe continued, “It’s been a hard slog, but the end result is well worth it.”

The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in a van stored in the workshop.
