It can be difficult to have the right amount of stock when it comes to making a reasonable profit from replacement wipers, so Trico has simplified the stocking requirements with its Exact Fit Factory Replacement Centre range of wiper blades. The range fits 99% of the European car parc and is a direct fit with no adaptors required. The blade programme is supported with promotional material, including a counter top easel to display examples of the Exact Fit range.

  • Spoiler alert! 

    Trico unveiled its Exact Fit Factory Replacement Centre at Automechanika which will be rolled out over the coming months. This comprises a redesigned and widely expanded range of front and rear wiper blades which fit nearly 99% of European vehicles with no adaptors needed. The Exact Fit range covers conventional, beam, hybrid and rear blades. Also new for autumn is the Trico Force beam blade line. These incorporate a swept-wing spoiler which controls airflow and converts force from winds up to around 220 Kph into downward pressure. Trico Ice is pitched as an extreme winter wiper blade which features a synthetic blended armour to protect components from ice and snow. Its Flex multi-fit blade programme has grown to 14 parts, adding lengths of 730mm, 750mm and 800mm.

    Chicago Pneumatic has unveiled its first composite angle grinder for the vehicle service market. The new CP75XX series boasts a powerful 1.1HP (840W) governed motor, providing a high material removal rate enabling users to reduce the time taken to complete their tasks. The new series is available in 4-inch, 4.5-inch and 5-inch grinding wheels, cutting wheels, flap wheels; providing users with added versatility to best suit their application.

    A vehicle coil spring is a dangerous object in its compressed state. Coil Spring compressors have to develop over 1000 kilos of force to compress a spring, while the same amount of energy is contained in the spring itself. If released in an unrestrained way it can be very dangerous.
