Manage workflow

Simple system improves efficiency

Published:  23 March, 2015

The status of all work within a workshop can be seen at a glance using the T Cards system and this workflow management tool is now available online. T Cards Online enables several different users to log on at any time to view the current status of each job.

Once the virtual board has been configured to meet individual requirements, new cards are opened from the main menu bar. There are standard templates for vehicle workshops, parts ordering and vehicle stock control. Users can manage workflow in real time, using a drag and drop feature to move cards around the online board to show the current status of jobs. All historical data is maintained so that it can be copied and reused.

T Cards can also be personalised and alarms, signals and email notification can be added. There is also a facility to attach external documents. Since a number of cards will appear on the same chart, they can be colour-coded for easier identification. As work progresses, the cards are simply dragged and dropped into a new column.
