New part numbers from Comline
Published: 18 December, 2014
A further 62 part numbers, incorporating 25 brake discs, 21 filters and 16 hub assembly kits, join Comline's 7,500-strong product range. The products cover all major European, Japanese and Korean vehicles and include an air filter for Fiat 500, oil filter for Renault Master, Nissan Qashqai+2, Vauxhall Movano, a brake disc for BMW's 2, 3 and 4 Series and a hub assembly kit for the Nissan Qashqai.
- All set for increased demand
Comline's filter range provides over 1,400 part numbers providing air, oil, fuel and cabin filters for over 95% of the European, Japanese and Korean car parc. Recent additions cover vehicles introduced in 2012 and after to cater for imminent demand in the aftermarket and include an air filter for the Fiat 500/Panda, oil filter for the Audi A3, VW Golf, Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia and an air filter for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The firm says each filter is manufactured using the latest ISO production procedures to ensure reliability and the price is kept down due to the company's lean structure - no field-based reps, no company cars, electric-only catalogues etc). With a broad, up-to-date range of high-quality filters available at competitive prices, it's easy to see why Comline has become one of the foremost filter suppliers in the aftermarket.
- Catch expiring warranty work
A further 24 passenger car brake disc parts boost Comline's disc range which now has nearly 900 part numbers for cars, light commercials and trucks. Notable additions include a rear disc for the Audi A6 from 2004> and quick of the mark is the front disc for the Hyundai i30 2012>. Each disc undergoes rigorous testing such as raw material analysis and a thorough dynamic balance check.
- Brake testing
After adding 168 new part numbers to its range of brake pads and discs in 2013, there's no sign of Comline Auto Parts easing the pace with 150 part numbers planned for release over the coming months, catering for the Japanese, Korean and European car parc. Over 1,200 'E' certified brake pads are currently available, a Rubber-Metal-Rubber shim features on many applications, helping to minimise noise and eradicate squeal. Parts undergo rigorous dynanometer tests at Comline's manufacturing plant. The foundry which the firm commissions also conducts material testing to check hardness and tensile strength.
- A mighty Mini upgrade
A programme of braking upgrades for all Mini models is offered by Tarox. A cost-effective upgrade is available with a disc and 'Strada' pad upgrade which can be used alongside the standard factory calipers. There are three disc styles; smart offset-radial grooves of the G88, OEM style arcing lines of the F2000 and the sportier drilled and grooved Sport Japan version. Each have attained the strict German ABE accreditation. Owners of the older R53 and R56 range can benefit from an upgrade and now for 25% less. A Sport Compact kit is born out of the firm's years of race car experience. The kit has a 315mm one-piece disc with a B30-6 caliper. For a limited time these are offered in custom caliper colours and pad compounds at a discounted price.
