Oils given a lift with rebrand

A re-engineered oil programme from Unipart

Published:  10 July, 2012

Unipart has re-engineered its oil programme, added a significant number of products to it and has relaunched the Unipart Pro range in retail style packaging which has clearer labelling to help garages select the right oil for the task in hand. A training programme is now underway with the aim of having an oil expert in every Unipart Automotive branch by the end of the year.

The range includes three types: ‘Pro M’ mineral oils, ‘Pro P’ part synthetic and ‘Pro S’ fully synthetic oils. Garages can use a VRN look-up online and application guides to identify the right oil.

Unipart says the market is growing for products that flush the engine before an oil change. Its petrol and diesel fuel system cleaners and lubrication flush remove carbons and lacquers from fuel systems, improving car performance and fuel economy. These present a good profit opportunity during services and can fix, or prevent, undetectable problems.
