The extended range comprises key steering parts such as wishbones, inner/outer tie-rods, link stabilisers, rubber-to-metal, ball joints and rod assemblies, fitted to more than 1000 applications (make/model/engine size). This includes popular UK vehicles such as: Citroen C4 Picasso II (2013 -), Ford Transit (2012 -), Hyundai i40 (2011-), Mini Cooper One (2010-), Peugeot 308 II (2014-), Range Rover Sport (2013-), Renault Clio (2012-), Vauxhall Mokka (2012-).

  • New solenoid range additions from SMPE  

    SMPE has added five new VVT oil control solenoid part numbers to its range. The latest additions are available across the company’s house brands including Intermotor, Fuel Parts and Lemark, as well as the Lucas brand for European customers, which from 1 May will be available to the UK aftermarket. SMPE’s range of VVT Oil Control Solenoids have an overall UK car parc coverage of around 3.5 million vehicles, with the new additions covering 947,522 vehicles.The newly extended range will be available in TecDoc with the next update.

  • FORTIS tyre equipment from Tyre Stuff 

    FORTIS brand of Tyre Machinery is now available UK wide, exclusively from Tyre Stuff. Built to Italian design specifications, all models demonstrate considerable build quality throughout with ergonomic placement of pedals, assist arms controls and bead breaker. Another feature across the range of Automatic tyre changers is the mount arm assist roller (MAAR). This small bearing roller sits on the main vertical column and supports the horizontal mounting arm. This provides a smooth easy movement of the horizontal mounting arm when positioning the mounting head. The 24” and 26” Fully automatic tyre changers also come with fast inflation as standard. All tyre machines also come with clamping jaw covers, bead breaker cover, tyre lever and mounting head inserts as standard. All wheel balancers in the range include a set of four cones, and the proprietary software in the machines keeps the balancing simple with STA/DYN modes, several ALU functions as well as motorcycle, split weight and self-calibration. Offering various options of data input from manual to automatic as well as hand spin to motorised, the focus is on ease of use and solid build for these machines.

  • NGK-NTK 5-wire sensors  

    NGK continues to enhance its NTK sensors offering with the launch of 20 new wide band Lambda sensors. The new wide band sensors – commonly referred to as ‘5-wire’ Lambda sensors – will supplement the company’s existing range of 64 NTK OE 5-wire sensors.The launch significantly increases its UK range coverage – particularly for VAG models – and means that NGK now has 5-wire sensors available for almost every vehicle manufacturer who utilises this technology.  The products are now visible on MAM Software and are supported by full OE and competitor cross-references NGK also recently announced that it is to introduce a range of new premium NTK camshaft and crankshaft sensors in the UK in 2019. A new European programme, comprising 567-part numbers covering 88% of the car parc, equivalent to 270 million cars, was announced recently at the Automechanika Frankfurt show and UK-specific part numbers and vehicle parc coverage will be confirmed over the coming months.
