SMPE: EGTS introductions

SMPE has added 30 new part numbers to its range of exhaust gas temperature sensors. The new parts cover a range of makes including Audi, Citroën, Ford, Mercedes, Peugeot and Vauxhall, for both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The latest additions are available across SMPE’s house brands including Intermotor, Fuel Parts, Lemark, and Lucas. The EGTS is located in front of and/or behind the DPF.

- Apec Braking adds Magnetic ABS Rings to range
Apec Braking’s range of over 6,000 braking products has grown with the launch of its new Magnetic ABS Rings. The first Apec part numbers introduced already cover numerous applications, including Citroen C3 and C4, Peugeot 207 and 307, Opel/Vauxhall Crossland X, Renault Clio, Espace, Kangoo, Megane and Laguna, and the Mercedes-Benz Citan. Apec will continue to regularly add new part numbers. These latest items join Apec’s existing range of Teeth and Window-type ABS rings. All versions have anti-corrosion coating to protect against extreme environments.

- DENSO thermal range expands
DENSO has expanded its range of A/C part numbers for workshops. In total 23 new part numbers have been added, consisting of two drier cartridges, three pressure switches and 18 expansion valves. The range expansion covers a variety of applications from major manufacturers such as Audi, Fiat, Ford and Jeep. The new offering extends the range to provide 1,302 additional applications, linked to 36 OE part numbers. It provides independent aftermarket distributors and workshops a comprehensive selection of parts to meet growing demand. The new A/C parts can be found in the DENSO E-catalogue and TecDoc.

- Textar: New-to-range parts
TMD Friction has issued new Textar brake pads, discs and accessories, along with ABS sensors and wear leads, plus a new range of low-viscosity (LV) DOT4 brake fluid, now available in 250ml, 500ml, one litre and five litre quantities. On the brake pad front, five new references have been introduced for nine vehicle manufacturers, with 2271701 and 2583801 covering Mercedes-Benz cars including AMG GT and C-Class (2014 -) and G-Class models (2018 -). Pad 2220501 caters for the Audi TT and TT Roadster (2014 -), and 2285801 for the KIA Stinger and Genesis G70(2017-). There are also three new brake discs for MINI F55, F56 Clubman and Convertible (2013-), and for the
Ford Focus.
