TechMan: ‘business as usual’ during Coronavirus restrictions

Published:  26 March, 2020

TechMan is advising its customers that it will be continuing to provide services and support for its garage management system while Coronavirus restrictions are in place.

Garages are among the businesses classified by the government as essential, and individual repair businesses will be evaluating their position in order to understand how they can operate while adhering to the new social distancing instructions.

TechMan’s Leo Freebairn commented: “In line with government advice on social distancing, some of our team will be working from home while others that support our critical infrastructure will be working from the office. This is a major change for both your business and ours, but we will be endeavouring to continue to provide ‘business as usual’ services to the best of our abilities, and will be working to support our customers throughout this time.”

Leo continued: “We would also recommend that you speak to whoever runs your payroll in order to better understand your own position around the furloughed leave-of-absence legislation.

He added: “These are truly strange times, and we want you to know that we are still here for you and your business as the weeks progress.”
