Contactless: VIEWMECH and Payment Assist integration announced

Published:  23 July, 2020

Personalised customer video provider VIEWMECH, which is provided by LKQ Euro Car Parts, has announced a new integration with finance provider Payment Assist that will enable workshops to provide an entirely contact-free customer journey all the way through to payment.

Once a car is dropped off, through the integration workshops can quickly create and send a personalised video of the repairs directly to the customer via text message or email, who then has the option to instantly sign-up for finance and split their repair bill over four interest-free monthly instalments.

Adam White, Workshop Solutions Director at LKQ Euro Car Parts commented: “With the pent-up demand of MOTs about to be released, we are delighted to announce the latest integration of two of our most popular and innovative solutions.  With video already proven to increase workshop sales by up to 25% and assist in delivering a safe and contactless service, the added functionality of being able to allow customers to discretely sign-up to 0% interest finance and then pay over four secure payments (rather than one lump sum) is something that benefits everyone.”

Lee Kelly, Head of Sales and Marketing at Payment Assist observed: “Our integration into the VIEWMECH system is a really exciting development and is the future.  98% of our customers are accepted for finance and with the agreement being made with us directly, there is zero risk, as the payment is assured to the garage before the work even starts. All this without having to come face to face with the customer and cutting down on unbilled workshop hours.”
