Motul: Full throttle at Goodwood Revival

Published:  15 September, 2021

Motul is turning its attention to the Goodwood Motor Circuit and its Revival meeting at the weekend, where the company has signed a major multi-year partnership.

Motul’s presence at 2021’s Revival, from 17-19 September, will focus around the Motul Garage on the Goodwood Revival High Street, while the Circuit’s Infield also features a Motul corner, where visitors can investigate Motul’s Vagabond historic truck. Motul’s mobile racing laboratory, housed inside a classic bus, will be on hand as well, providing free oil sample analysis to competitors. The Goodwood Revival also features a tribute to British motorsport marque BRM, which is presented by Motul. This included the 1974-5 BRM F1 cars that ran in Motul livery.

Motul will also be the presenting partner of the St Mary’s Trophy, one the weekend’s feature races. It features classic saloons, mainly from the 1950s, with everything from Austin A40s to Mk1 Jaguars and even a Ford Thunderbird - driven by top historic racers, who teamed up with touring car legends, Le Mans winners and F1 stars.

Commenting on their presence at the show, Motul UK Country Manager Callum Goodland commented: “We are both proud and excited to be so involved with one of the UK’s greatest historic motoring events. There isn’t anything that compares with the Goodwood Revival, with its mixture of incredible historic racing and pageantry.

“Motul has an incredible history and in this landmark year for Motul, we look forward to both further developing our partnership with Goodwood over the coming years, and to increasing Motul’s presence, in general, in the UK.”
