Capricorn Car Parts has updated its product data from V7 to V8 in MAM Software’s vehicle parts catalogue Autocat, allowing products to become available to over 11,000 Autocat users in the UK.
Capricorn Car Parts Ltd, are the UK distributor of Italian OE ignition and engine management components manufacturer Facet. Capricorn Car Parts Director Richard Walkden said: “Autocat allows us to reach customers with parts instantly on a national scale. Our Facet catalogue data is already published in TecDoc and thanks to the agreement between MAM and TecAlliance, we have been able to utilise their catalogue data conversion service for the extraction, mapping, quality checking and publication of our data in Autocat. This enables us to keep our product data accurate and up-to-date.”
MAM Software’s Nigel Clemett added: “Autocat is already the most comprehensive parts catalogue in the UK and its usage is consistently increasing with time. This means that Capricorn Car Parts can reach more customers than ever before. Our catalogue data conversion services help suppliers like Capricorn Car Parts to ensure their Autocat data is of a high quality, which gives their customers greater confidence that the products they are supplying will be correct first time.”
