MOT stations pointed towards advice on managing busy Autumn

Published:  25 October, 2021

The 2020 MOT exemption has radically altered the pattern of tests across the year, shifting many more into the second half of the year for the foreseeable future, and Eurorepar Car Service (ERCS) is urging its members to be prepared for the inevitable surge in MOT bookings this autumn.

The DVSA’s ‘Autumn MOT Demand’ campaign, based on the findings of the ‘Beat the Rush’ initiative is offering testing stations advice in a number of areas.

Nick Taylor, Head of Network and Business Development at Eurorepar Car Service, said: “The coming months are shaping up to be very busy throughout our network, so it’s critical that members are on top of their customer service so as to not leave motorists disappointed. We encourage all of our centres to communicate clearly with their customers to help them secure MOT slots well in advance. Our experienced team are on hand to help any of our network members and can provide as much input as garages need.”
