Excitement builds as REPXPERT Academy returns

Published:  25 April, 2022

Schaeffler is reporting huge demand for its first REPXPERT Academy live training event, taking place at the Bridgend College STEAM campus in Pencoed on Saturday 21 May.

More 200 technicians and garage owners have expressed an interest in attending the event, where they get a full day of free training, presented in the same format used when the concept was launched at Lincoln College late in 2019.

Doors open at 9am, and training starts at 10am, with four separate 45 minute sessions covering Schaeffler’s LuK double clutch and INA belt drive systems, plus electric vehicle and workshop business best practice classes hosted by special guests Hayley Pells and Tim Benson.
During breaks, attendees can take a look at the Laser Tools display, talk technical at the REPXPERT training van, chat to the TechMan team, or take a look at the latest technology from Brembo and ACtronics. The IMI will also be demonstrating how technicians can make best use of its range of services.

The Schaeffler team is visiting workshops in the South Wales area in the run-up to the day. Commenting on the buzz building around the Bridgend event, Schaeffler Technical Manager Alistair Mason, said; “Presenting the resources that REPXPERT offers in an informal live format, where attendees can get hands-on with a wide range of products, tools and systems, is obviously what mechanics are looking for – judging by the numbers we have signing up for the Bridgend Academy Live event.”
