Philips Xperion 6000 work lights

Philips has introduced three new Xperion 6000 flood lights; The Flood, Flood Audio, and Flood Mini. The Philips Xperion 6000 Flood and Flood Audio lights deliver 1,000 lumens from 10 Watts of power, while the more compact Philips Xperion 6000 Flood Mini offers up 500 lumens. Each Philips Xperion 6000 Flood light offers a variable beam; A wide-angle beam for large areas, and a focused beam for detailed inspections. Beam is adjusted via an knob on the side. In addition, the smart light remembers the last setting and restarts there.

Lumileds, global manufacturers for Philips automotive lighting products, recently launched the Philips Xperion 6000 series of workshop lights, which will come to the UK and Ireland early in 2022. Distinguishable from previous models with the new green colour scheme, the range initially launches with five workshop light products; The 6000 UV Pillar, the 6000 Pillar, the 6000 Pocket, the 6000 Slim, and the 6000 Line as well as a Multi Dock station and a Find My Device accessory. They all feature at least one magnet, with which to attach them to metal surfaces, a 360° hook, and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS) rubber grips for optimum handling.

Philips has launched the RCH19 rechargeable slim lamp and RCH21 rechargeable lamp with docking station. The RCH19 provides bright natural light, along with the flexibly of up to seven hours of cordless use. It has been designed with a 180° rotating light, so the technician can fit the lamp into extremely narrow spaces. The RCH21 rechargeable lamp with docking station features a 90° flippable light module, ensuring 360° illumination. It boasts advanced battery technology, which lasts five times longer than traditional rechargeable batteries, offering 1500 charging cycles instead of the standard 300.

- New UV light cleaner from OSRAM
OSRAM has launched the Air Zing Mini air purifier, which deploys ultraviolet light to remove germs from the air inside vehicles. The UV works at a wavelength of 360 to 370 nanometers and OSRAM says it has already been successfully tested against bird flu viruses.
A photo-catalytic reaction kills viruses and bacteria cells before the purified air is expelled through the top of the housing. The filter can be cleaned with clear tap water, dried and reused and can also be used freestanding, making applications outside the car possible, including on office desks.
