Castrol unveils technical support service

A new technical support service that can help with a wide range of queries has been launched by Castrol. The new AI-based offering will put garages in contact with Castrol’s technical agents, who will be available during working hours five days a week.

During a pilot phase for the new technical support service, Castrol’s agents responded to 87% of email enquiries within 24 hours. Castrol is offering the multi-language service via a partnership with omnichannel customer acquisition management, customer care, technical support provider Teleperformance.

Federico Bindi, EMEA Technical Services Manager at Castrol Europe, commented: “The new service is designed to be highly accessible and responsive – consistent with our brand proposition – and we hope that workshops and customers find it beneficial.”

He added: “Our products feature highly advanced components and are formulated to provide superior levels of performance, and it is therefore natural that some of our customers and trade partners will want to fully understand the benefits and explore how to get the most from them.”
