LKQ Euro Car Parts hands over latest Ukraine donation as nuns visit Tamworth HQ

LKQ Euro Car Parts’ support for Ukraine continues, and the company was able to make its latest £5,000 donation in person, when Sisters from the Congregation of St Joseph in Ukraine visited its Tamworth HQ.

The company has been supporting Ukraine since the start of the conflict last February. To date it has raised enough money to buy and deliver seven ambulances to the Congregation, who have then sent these to hospitals across the country.

Inventory Analyst Dawid Kozlowski has led the fundraising efforts. He said: “It’s been a real pleasure to host the sisters and be able to continue our support for the people of Ukraine who have been affected by the war. The outpouring of donations from our colleagues over the last year has exceeded our expectations, and we’re thankful for the time and effort everyone’s put in to supporting this cause.”

LKQ Euro Car Parts COO Richard Morgan added: “The conflict in Ukraine has been a cause close to the hearts of many of our colleagues, and at LKQ Euro Car Parts we knew we would be able to make a real difference. The work that Dawid, and colleagues from across all our branches have done to support Ukraine is admirable, and looking to the future, we will continue to assist the sisters wherever we can.”
