IMI’s Steve Nash joins Motoring Hall of Fame

IMI CEO Steve Nash has been inducted into The Motoring Hall of Fame.

The Motoring Hall of Fame, whose official partner is The British Motor Show, recognises individuals and businesses that have made a valuable contribution to the automotive industry.Steve has been elevated as a result of his work leading the professional body, including his championing of skills training taking in apprenticeships, the promotion of CPD and the future-proofing of the sector via EV upskilling, and work towards autonomous driving, as well as ongoing efforts to close the skills gap.


Other achievements include spearheading the establishment of the IMI TechSafeTM professional recognition, now endorsed by the Government Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), widening the membership of the IMI to include free access for students and sponsoring the IMI Diversity Task Force.


Commenting on his joining the Hall of Fame, Steve said: “I am honoured to be inducted into The Motoring Hall of Fame, placed alongside some truly great names in the industry. The British Motor Show is the biggest event of its kind in the UK, so to be presented with this accolade at the show amongst so many industry colleagues and genuine automotive enthusiasts is a real privilege.

“I am committed to helping to improve standards in our industry and the service we provide to motorists and will continue to champion the importance of professionally competent technicians to support the evolution of the motor industry and the growth of the sector, whatever challenges may lie ahead.”
